As we move through the winter and into the spring, we wanted to be sure that we shared with our users some new features in Gallopade that they might find useful.
Searching for Content
Students can now search for assignments not only by title but also using words included in resource subtitles. This should allow for students to more easily locate assignments in any of the My Assignment tabs – current, due today, closed and graded.
Student Status for Assignments
A new column has been added to Assignment Submissions, Student Status, to allow teachers to see actions taken by the student. This enables teachers to see if a student has opened and started working on content, even if the assignment status is closed. If a teacher force submits content, the student status does not change.
Save the dates!
Gallopade has scheduled system updates on the following dates. It is recommended that users sign out prior to the updates. Be sure to look at the notifications on your Gallopade dashboard (or within your district’s internal communication system if applicable) for more specifics about the start and end times.
