Gallopade has a Full-Time Staff Accountant position available in our General and Administrative Department. We are seeking an energetic and driven finance professional to join the team. Use your knowledge, best practices, and procedures for accounting activities. The Staff Accountant is key member of the management team reporting to the President.
Managing accounting documents, evaluating, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing accounting operations analyzing financial data, publishing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
Credit Control and AR Management.
Taxation – Ensuring timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
Financial Analysis – Prepare and interpret the monthly balance sheet, income statements, profit and loss statements on monthly/periodic/need basis and drive the financial performance of the company.
Coding invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and monthly closings.
Reconciles bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits and inquiries from banks.
Reconciles payroll, customer accounts, financial accounts, and cash disbursements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Manage the purchasing and invoicing system.
Managing and development team members.
Perform other duties as assigned
Proven experience in accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
At least three years of related experience required.
Ability to handle confidential information and material.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent organizational and attention to details.
Knowledge of general financial and cost accounting software.
